Recent Super-kamiokande Result on Atmospheric Neutrino and K2k Long Baseline Neutrino Oscillation Experiment

In this talk recent result on the atmospheric neutrino from Super-Kamiokande based on the data sample corresponding to 326 live-days and the K2K long baseline neutrino oscillation experiment at KEK, Japan will be discussed.

Atmospheric and Long Baseline Neutrino

This paper presents the recent results from Super-Kamiokande atmospheric neutri-nos and from K2K accelerator neutrinos. Both results show the signal of neutrino oscillation, and provide new and precise information of oscillation parameters. The oscillation parameters are constraint to be between 1.5×10 −3 eV 2 and 3.9×10 −3 eV 2 for ∆m 2 and to be greater than 0.92 for sin 2 2θ.
